General Description:

  • Implement district health services program to best meets the needs of the student population at all campuses.
  • Provide health services to students.
  • Promote health and safety education for students and preventive health practices for students.
  • Direct & Teach the Olton High School CNA classes/program.

Benefits:

  • Hiring Salary: As per District Salary Schedule + Stipend for teaching CNA Classes.
  • Group health insurance coverage is provided through TRS-ActiveCare, the statewide public school health insurance program. The district contributes $300.00 per month ($3,600.00 annually) toward employee health insurance coverage for eligible employees who choose to participate in TRS-ActiveCare.  In addition to the local contribution, the state pays a health insurance benefit of $75.00 per month ($900.00 annually) toward coverage to each employee who participates in TRS-ActiveCare

 

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Licensed RN from accredited university/nursing program, and
  • 2 years or more experience working as a nurse, and 
  • 1 year or more experience providing care in a long term facility.
  • Applicant must provide doucumented evidence of one the following requirements:
  •       1. Completed a course focused on teaching adult students, or
  •       2. Experience teaching adult students, or
  •       3. Experience supervising nurse's aides.
